In the beginning God created heaven and earth. God then created man, in His own image, to rule over earth and every living creature in it. (Gen 1)
Man did not resist the devil and it’s own desires. Man died to sin and lost dominion over creation. God brought the law to correct Man’s way, God knew Man will not be able to bring fulfillment to the law, God came down in the form of Man to fulfill it Himself. Jesus walked the earth and fulfilled the law (Mat 5:17). The law lost it’s condemning power (Rom 8:1), in doing so Jesus restored the Man to it’s initial glory as it was in the garden (Eph 4:23-24). The power now lies in Man’s head and self control to take back dominion over creation, and the whole creation is waiting with eager anticipation for Man to realize this (Rom 8:19).
