Godly Conversations; Another late night with my dear friend and brother in Christ, which could go on for another few hours, but rushing against a curfew had it cut short.
A while ago God had me busy with “Capacity”, it was still in progress when it was placed in the “Parked” folder as another topic took priority at that point in time…
Capacity; It all started with Isaiah 54:2-3′ (‘Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out…’). Thank you to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and teachings, He taught me to first look to the inward man, before running to Game or Makro to buy a bigger tent.
The Capacity need to take place within you before manifesting in the outward… Your thought patterns, the way you respond over the way react, your “Behind Closed Door” encounters with God, this all creates capacity to start thinking more and more as God does. In a CAPTION; to me Romans 12:2 means “Being inwardly transformed by the influence of the Holy Spirit to change the thought patterns, to be in line with and to think as God does.” This alone will take a 10-man tent to be stretched way beyond capacity, the capacity of your inward habitation will need to be broaden, by A WHOLE LOT… because His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
A touch on a previous post I did; we are Spirit, Soul and Flesh… our core is in the soul (our thoughts, our emotions, our will to choose); then the regenerated self (the Holy Spirit filled spirit, the new creation) try at all means to influence the Soul to bear fruit and over flow into the natural realm; however the Flesh (the carnal nature; which was never meant to be corrupt, but to bring balance) try and have its “say” over who you are, what you do and how you respond, by the attempted manipulation and lies of the enemy over the carnal nature, to try and corrupt the soul, the thoughts, the believes, the choices. dot, dot, dot… let me not get carried away here…
Colossians 3:1-4 tells us; ‘IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory.’
Jesus did say “Let it be on earth as it is in heaven…”, did He not? So why wait?
And the topic was parked for more mediation and revelation…
After seeking God’s presence and prayer, tonight’s conversations were led to Hebrews 11:1… so what is faith?
‘Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. ‘
But wait… the “unseen”? It comprehends which cannot be experienced by “physical senses”? And the “Capacity” folder was re-opened. After all; “It is impossible to please God without faith.”
The reality, or what we see as reality… the reality we experience by the known physical senses, things on earth are directly influenced by the unseen… sounds quite obvious if you think of our composition of Spirit, Soul and Flesh, and the constant battle for ownership over the Soul.
So, easier said than done… Why do we allow the physical realm to corrupt our souls with anxiety and fear…? we are inward beings, designed to live from the inside outwards, however we allow influences for us to live according to the outside inwardly. Do not be conformed by the outward, but be transformed by the inward.
The conclusion of tonight’s conversation can be Captioned as “What we call Reality is limiting the capacity of the unseen”; The hunger, and what you choose to feed the hunger with, Spirit or Flesh, will create capacity… choose your source… “I have set before you, life and death, the blessing and the curse…”
I CHOOSE LIFE!!! I CHOOSE JESUS, AND WILL EVERY SINGLE DAY… I WILL NOT ALLOW THE OUTWARD TO INFLEUNCE MY CHOICES…
