Day 1 was âRenewing of your prayer lifeâ, donât drop the ball⊠be conscious of your thoughts, turn it into prayer. It is humanly impossible to pray 24 hours a day, but be in constant awareness and contact with God; speaking in tongues whenever you can, donât allow thoughts that raise itself against Godâs thoughts for you, donât entertain it.
Day 2 was âPersonal Rediscovery of the God-Breathed Wordâ; it is a daily practice and journey, be saturated in His word. Take your morning scripture and think about it, quote it over and over in your mind, pray about it the whole day. Allow the Holy Spirit to reword it in a language that make sense to you, apply it, live it. Revisit it in His presence; âSelf-revelationâ is the most effective way for thorough furnished application of the Bible.
 Day 3 is âTo Revive Bible doctrineâ.
The meaning of Doctrine in Greek is Teachings or Principals / The act of teaching.
You need to confidently know Who and what you believe. The Bible is filled with principles and teachings of truths to guide us; there is a very thin line between the truth and lies; and not knowing the doctrine of your belief in God will lead you astray without you even knowing it. And I am not only referring to the discernment of false prophets, but also referring to the acceptance of what the world feed us to as âBEING OKAYâ with.
God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow; WRONG STAYS WRONG, and consciously accepting and committing WRONG as âOKAYâ is abusing the doctrine of grace. Dear friend, ignorance will not count in your favour on the day of judgement. (Acts 17:30-31)
Quoting 2 Timothy 3:16-17 again for self application;
â Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to Godâs will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.â
Studying the Bible and Godâs principals teaches us selves disciplined obedience and train us in righteousness. Applying it to your life will bring you to completeness and proficiency in to Godâs will.
The time of candy coating the word, the teachings, the principals and doctrine should come to an end, and it is our responsibility to warn people to correct their ways and thinking as we are taught in 2 Timothy 4:1-4. Not being aware of biblical doctrine will not put you in a position to do such.
‘ I CHARGE [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by (in the light of) His coming and His kingdom: Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching. For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions.’
