John 16:8-15 āWhen he comes, heāll expose the error of the godless worldās view of sin, righteousness, and judgment: Heāll show them that their refusal to believe in me is their basic sin; that righteousness comes from above, where I am with the Father, out of their sight and control; that judgment takes place as the ruler of this godless world is brought to trial and convicted.
āI still have many things to tell you, but you canāt handle them now. But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He wonāt draw attention to himself, but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, out of all that I have done and said. He will honor me; he will take from me and deliver it to you. Everything the Father has is also mine. That is why Iāve said, āHe takes from me and delivers to you.ā
It is āPersonalāā¦ if you let Him, He willā¦ I PROMISE YOU!!! The Holy Spirit speaks to us on a daily basis, in many forms; it is crucial that we are attentive to His voice.
Being in constant awareness and contact with Him (Day 1); meditating on personal revelation (Day 2), and knowing and applying biblical doctrine (Day 3) should position your thoughts to hearing Him.
He will help you, train you to righteousness, positioning you in Right Standing with the Father.
He will highlight small little errors that need to be corrected. Galatians 5:9 talks about little leaven, that can possibly lead us astray and corrupt the soul.
Just a little misconception can lead us to eternal death. Be aware of the 5 types of Leaven;
š„ Leaven of Pharisees; Religious acts (Mark 8:15)
š„ Leaven a Sadducees; Deny super natural (Matthew 16:5-7)
š„ Leaven of Herod; Prideā¦ lust of the eye, lust of flesh, pride of life (Mark 8:15)
š„ Leaven of Corinthians; Lusting for othersā… Rejection of spiritual authority (1 Corinthians 5:6-8)
š„ Leaven of Galatian; Denies grace (Galatians 5:7-10)
One can easily fall trap to small misconceptions and miss the truth of God. The Holy Spirit searches all things, He will highlight when you step out of line, and guide you to spiritual growth to get closer to Godā¦ (1 Corinthians 2:10-16).
Pay attention, be attentive, do not deny Himā¦ being purposely ignorant of His call will lead to self-infliction. DO NOT give the enemy credit for your ignorance and disobedienceā¦ (Matthew 12:30-32) Give God your attention, donāt let it get to the point for Him to demand your attention, it is usually not a pleasant experience to go though correction, much needed, but not pleasant while in the middle of it.
